Access data / Server log files

We, the website operator or hosting provider, collect data on visits to the website on the basis of our legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR) and store this data as “server log files” on the website’s server. The following data is logged:

  • Amount of data sent in bytes

The server log files are stored for a maximum of 180 days and are then deleted. The data is stored for security reasons, for example to investigate cases of misuse. If data needs to be retained for evidential purposes, it is exempt from deletion until the incident has been fully resolved .

The collection of data for the provision of the website and the storage of this data in log files is essential for the operation of the website. Consequently, the user has no option to object.

Processing is carried out on the basis of legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) in order to prevent misuse and ensure IT security.

The data will be deleted as soon as it is no longer required for the purpose for which it was collected.

Retention period

Personal data will be deleted or blocked as soon as the purpose no longer applies. Data will only be retained for longer if required by law or with the data subject’s consent.
